OLIVE GROVES and DRY WALLS

THE HINTERLAND OF THE RIVIERA AND ITS MAGICAL GOLD

In the small enchanted village of Lavina, a hamlet of the municipality of Rezzo, along the dry stone walls, about 600 m above sea level. we find our Taggiasca variety olive groves, which were cultivated by grandfather Guido.
When we talk about dry stone walls, we are talking about agricultural and historical architecture included as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where through this technique, which does not involve the use of binders and mortars, it is possible to recover terraces on hills even very steep and rugged, thus increasing agricultural production.
From our olive groves, we obtain Extra Virgin Olive Oil of the Taggiasca variety, a typical quality of the area, especially of Western Liguria.
The extra virgin olive oil obtained, very delicate and precious, golden yellow in colour, has an intense and fruity aroma with a light and sweet taste.
